I really loved these mats when I got them , but after the first wash they had a very off smell, I had to leave them in the sun for days to get rid of the odor.I haven’t tested the absorbency, but they’re soft and feel nice. These would be perfect if they were thicker or memory foam. Out of all the rugs I’ve had that are the shaggy style, these seem to collect the most debris and hold onto them. No matter the amount of shaking them out, or sweeping them, or attempting to vacuum (too shaggy for that), they seem to just keep everything stuck to them well. I just feel like as much as I like them, they won’t last long at all because they’ll just stay dirtyThe rugs stay in place and we have dogs and they don't show per hairReally like this rug for softness and quality. Because of shipping issues worldwide it did not arrive in time for Christmas as expected but the seller generously refunded me promptly and I was able to keep the product when it finally did arrive. I felt this was a "more than fair" resolution of the issue and great customer service.
