The color is very bright, and the rugs are super absorbent. I have washed several times and it has held up both in color and material. The only problem I had is that my seat cover was too large for my toilet, I added extra elastic under to cover to give extra grip.I had gone shopping in several stores looking for this type of rug with the larger coils or whatever you want to call them and the ones I found were all in colors that I really didn't care for.
